The NAMM Clients represent a network of over 600 primary care physicians and 1,200 specialists and work with the premier hospitals in their respective markets.
The parent company of NAMM is Aveta Inc., a privately held organization based in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The Aveta family of companies includes NAMM California, NAMM Arizona, NAMM Illinois and in Puerto Rico, Medicare y Mucho Mas and PMC Medicare Choice, combined to form one of the country’s largest Medicare Advantage Plans with over 185,000 senior members in Puerto Rico. These relationships enable NAMM to access vast actuarial data on health care cost, political decision makers on health care legislation and capital for new development.
A key affiliate in the California operations is Prime Care Medical Network, Inc. (“PMNI”). PMNI has a limited California Knox-Keene license for the counties of Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego enabling PMNI to accept both institutional and professional risk to enhance the coordinated care model. PMNI currently accepts global capitation for most of its senior plans and one of its commercial plans. As a Knox-Keene licensee, the Department of Managed Health Care subjects PMNI to stringent measures to ensure that the company maintains its financial solvency requirements and compliance to multiple operational standards.
