Renu Bhupathy, MD

Renu Bhupathy, MD joined NAMM California in August 2021. Dr. Bhupathy is Board Certified in Family Medicine with over 20 years of experience in patient care, practice management, business development, leadership, medical education, and research.

She had direct patient care for 7 years in value-based environments in both the outpatient and inpatient settings during her time with Kaiser Permanente. In addition, she was also in private practice for 7 years where her main focus had been managing Medicare patients. Most recently, she served as faculty at the California University Science and Medicine-School of Medicine where she was Assistant Professor of Education for the past 4 years.

Dr. Bhupathy brings a great deal of experience working with various clinical, leadership, and academic settings. Her experience and familiarity will be an asset as she joins our Medical Management Team.
